What is a SAFe® Collaborate Facilitator?

SAFe® Collaborate Facilitator is a role fulfilled by the person who assists a group of people using a template to solve a problem in a forum. Facilitators should know the template being used and follow best practices for facilitation techniques. A SAFe® Collaborate Facilitator is often the same person as a SAFe® Collaborate Producer, but this is not a requirement.

What is a SAFe® Collaborate Producer?

A SAFe® Collaborate Producer is the role fulfilled by the person who chooses one or more templates to solve a problem or answer a question, assembles facilitators and participants into a forum, and reviews the results to assess the solution or answer. A SAFe® Collaborate Producer is often the same person as a SAFe® Collaborate Facilitator, but this is not a requirement.

I’m setting up a SAFe® Collaborate Event, how do I find the instructions for each template?

When you are considering using a template, but want to get some more information about it, click on the “more” option that appears when you hover over the template. This will bring you to the template details where you can see the full description and instructions on the right hand side.
