Updated over 10 months ago

What is SAFe CoFund?
SAFe CoFund is an application in SAFe Studio that enables the facilitation of participatory budgeting as LPM describes it. It’s participatory budgeting, simplified. SAFe CoFund makes it easy to set up an event, organize participants and facilitators, encourage collaborative bidding in small groups, and analyze the bidding activity both during and after the event.

How can I access SAFe CoFund?
After logging in to SAFe Studio and access SAFe CoFund from the 'Practice' tab from the left-hand navigation menu.

Do I have to have a Studio membership to access SAFe CoFund?
No, but signing in as a Guest means you can only join events you’ve been invited to. You will not be able to create events.
NOTE: It is HIGHLY recommended to log in with Studio since this will provide an event history and make for a more seamless experience with the rest of Studio.

How can I use SAFe CoFund in an LPM class?
LPM classes created after November 1, 2023 will include updated course materials and guidance on using SAFe CoFund for the Participatory Budgeting simulation (the original spreadsheet materials are also still available).
The instructor or admin setting up the LPM class must use their SAFe Studio credentials to create the demo event in SAFe CoFund for their class.
