How do I renew my certification?
To renew your certification(s) please follow the instructions below:
Login to Studio
Click on the ”Renew Now” button on the home page (located at the top of the homepage). If you do not see this button, you can log in and visit this page here: https://studio.scaledagile.com/en/subscription-details
You will then be presented with the membership renewal options so you can select the membership level that works best for you.
Depending on the certifications you hold, you will need to select the correct Membership tier. You can find that information here .
Certification renewals are included in the Membership renewal. Membership renewal is required to renew your certifications. We do not renew certifications individually.
Memberships are non-refundable
Also on your homepage you will see a link to your "My Certs" page which lives in the profile section of the Studio Platform. This is where all of your certifications will be listed.
The New Expiration date for certifications can be set by a number of factors.
If you purchase your renewal before the expiration, then your certifications will be extended 12 months from the listed expiration date.
If you purchase your renewal after the expiration, you will be given 12 months from the date of purchase.
If your membership has expired, but some of your certifications are still active when you renew, those certifications will be extended to match the new expiration date of the membership.
Note: You do not need to take the exam again in order to renew your membership.
Why am I not seeing the option to renew?
If you are not seeing the option to renew, you may have signed up for Auto-Renewal. To unenroll from Auto-Renewal: Visit the "Auto-Renewal" page in Studio
Click on "Edit Auto-Renewal"
Click on "Unenroll from "Automatic Renewal"
Mark the Checkbox "I understand" after reading a brief popup window
Click on "Unenroll"
You will see a confirmation that your Automatic Renewal has been stopped.
Can I renew my membership after the expiration date?
Yes, you can renew your membership after it expires. Log in to Studio and select the "Renew" button to the right of your expired membership. There are no late fees associated with renewing your membership after it expires, nor will you be required to retake the exam in order to maintain any certifications you may have achieved.
I am on a SAFe Enterprise Subscription (SES), how do I renew?
The Certificate will still say that it is set to expire. The day after your certification expires, it will automatically renew for another year. SPC renewal is not included in the SAFe Enterprise Subscription and must be renewed separately.

What is included in my SPCT and SPC renewals?
The SAFe® Program Consultant Trainer (SPCT) and SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) certifications offer the benefit of renewing all other acquired certifications at no additional cost. The cost of renewing the SPCT and SPC certification is $995 per year. The renewal is valid for one year and includes membership in the Studio Platform.
What are the benefits of renewing my membership?
Renewing your membership allows continuous access to your profile, certification, and the Studio Platform, where there are additional resources and benefits.

You will have access to SAFe Skills until 2026. However, if you are part of a SAFe Enterprise Subscription, you will need to contact your Account Admin for further information on accessing SAFe Skills.
