In short, yes. The Framework and its associated articles are being limited to SAFe Studio. This means that you will need to log in via SAFe Studio in order to have access to the full Framework articles, however a limited version of the Framework and the articles will still be available to everyone.
When is this change taking effect?
The effective date for this change is December 4th, 2024.
Will I need a different login for the Framework site?
No, you will be able to access the Framework from within your existing SAFe Studio Login. This can be done from the 'Learn -> SAFe Framework' menu.
If my SAFe Studio Membership is expired but my certifications are not, can I access the full SAFe Framework?
At this time, no. Full access to the SAFe Framework will require an active SAFe Studio Membership.
Why can't I access the Framework information I could before?
Access to the specific guidance in the Framework is exclusive to those with an active SAFe Studio account. This allows us to provide the ongoing, high-quality, research-based information you have come to expect from SAFe.
Why is Scaled Agile making this change?
This change allows us to have a single, unified platform that will allow us to continually invest in research, testing and development of the Framework and SAFe as a whole. It also helps provide a layer of separation between AI Learning Language Models that, so far, lack the context and nuance to properly provide correct answers when asked about the SAFe Framework.
