I'm an SPC. Can I teach public courses?

Updated over 9 months ago

If you are an Independent SAFe Practice Consultant (SPC) and not associated with a Partner Organization, you are authorized to teach public in-person* courses, although you cannot advertise these public trainings on SAI's training calendar. Public courses advertised on our public training calendar are reserved for our Gold and Silver Partners.

*All courses must be taught by a certified SPC and must adhere to the Courseware License Agreement within the courseware. Public courses are defined as SAFe courses with open registration to the general public.

If you are not associated with one of these Partners, you are not authorized to publish on SAI's training calendar. As an Independent SPC, you are also authorized to hold private courses remotely and in person. Private courses are defined as a course held within a single enterprise.

For all SPCs, please review our training policy page for more information. Further, all attendees of the course must either have a license purchased for their attendance and be uploaded to the roster, or be a Certified SPC that is validated/enabled to teach that course.

At this time, we do not permit the recording of our course content even if it is being instructed by a Certified and Validated SPC. All courses must be taught live, either remote or in person.
