What is SAFe CoPilot?
SAFe CoPilot is a modern, generative AI chat agent, in the style of popular agents like ChatGPT and Gemini. Users can enter any prompt they wish, from questions on SAFe to requests to assist them in their job, to receive bespoke responses. These responses combine large language model (LLM) technology plus the extensive SAFe corpus of articles, courses, videos, eLearning, toolkits, blogs, and more to create powerful responses quickly.

​How does SAFe CoPilot work?
SAFe CoPilot processes input text using a large language model (LLM), which analyzes the context and semantics of the text and generates responses. This is augmented with SAFe content for the best quality response to your message.

​What are some common uses of SAFe CoPilot?
Learning SAFe - SAFe can feel overwhelming with its deep collection of leading guidance, and SAFe CoPilot makes the vast knowledge base easily accessible. Simply type your questions and immediately get answers.
SAFe study buddy - You can achieve your next level of certification with SAFe CoPilot as your personal study tutor. SAFe CoPilot can answer any questions about SAFe, creating quick learning loops as you synthesize learning material and prepare for any examinations.

Optimizing SAFe facilitators - The key SAFe roles, such as Scrum Master/Team Coach, Product Owner, Product Manager, and RTE now have a powerful role optimizer. SAFe CoPilot can save significant time for these roles through tasks such as agenda creation, story and feature writing, and day-to-day SAFe questions. SAFe CoPilot enables these roles to focus on the most valuable opportunities by helping them save significant time on more routine tasks and challenges.

Uplevel Coaching - There are many demands for SAFe coaching every day as a partner, and SAFe CoPilot significantly reduces that workload by handling day-to-day SAFe questions and challenges. This opens up partner SPCs to focus on strategic value generation with a client, such as tough enterprise transformation challenges that showcase the partner’s expertise in deeply applying SAFe guidance.

​Is SAFe CoPilot free to use?
During the limited, early access period, SAFe CoPilot is free to use - with unlimited prompts - for invited users. Payment may be required after SAFe CoPilot is generally available.

​How do I access SAFe CoPilot?
Join the waitlist at copilot.scaledagile.com to gain priority access to our early access period. An active membership to SAFe Studio is required for all users of our early access period.

​Can SAFe CoPilot understand and generate text in multiple languages?
SAFe CoPilot does support non-English languages, but we know it can do an even better job.. In the future, SAFe CoPilot will provide amazing support for non-English speakers by translating SAFe guidance in real-time for their prompts. We will be exploring the application of SAFe CoPilot in other languages to support our global audience.

​Does SAFe CoPilot retain personal information and conversation history?
Yes. In order to provide a great experience to you, SAFe CoPilot retains the profile information that you provide plus your conversation history. This way you can return to prior conversations. You can delete these conversations at any time.

​What improvements are expected in future versions of SAFe CoPilot?
The following features are subject to change based on user feedback and usage patterns during our early access period.

Non-English support - In the future, SAFe CoPilot can provide amazing support for non-English speakers by translating SAFe guidance in real-time for their prompts. We will be exploring the application of SAFe CoPilot in other languages to support our global audience.

Partner content - Our SAFe partners have incredible thought leadership that we’d love to bring to the SAFe community. In the future, if SAFe partners give us access to their content, we can use it in making answers to users, citing the partner’s work in the response so SAFe Professionals can further learn and connect with the partner.

Specific AI applications - We intend to further hone the quality of SAFe CoPilot in the future by creating specific use case handling. This may include things like studying for an exam, creating slides for a presentation, or finding training. These applications of SAFe CoPilot will give even better responses for these use cases.

​How are you accounting for hallucinations?
As with any generative Al application, hallucinations can happen as CoPilot needs to be able to generate new text for you. We've been tuning SAFe CoPilot to minimize them, and we're watching customer feedback for reports of any hallucinations to address them. It’s best to confirm any critical information with the sources listed in the response.

​Do the inputs provided by the user contribute to model training?
We do not use the user messages for model training nor share them with third parties outside SAFe's controlled environments.
