How do I get SAFe Skills?
SAFe Skills are available through a SAFe+ subscription, Scaled Agile’s on-demand learning platform for agile professionals.
The best way to get started with SAFe+ is by holding an active SAFe certification—because SAFe+ is included with all active certifications through the end of 2025. That means if you’re currently certified, you already have access to the full SAFe Skills library at no additional cost.
For enterprise customers, SAFe+ offers a scalable, cost-effective solution to upskill teams, align agile practices across departments, and accelerate transformation efforts. Right now, the best way to begin is by reaching out to a Scaled Agile sales representative or customer service team member. They’ll help you initiate your subscription, guide you through the process of assigning access to your learners, and ensure your team is set up to unlock the full potential of SAFe+.
What are SAFe Skills?
SAFe Skills are a library of self-paced, on-demand learnings designed for immediate impact. They focus on practical, agile, and soft business skills directly applicable to the day-to-day challenges of agile transformations.
SAFe Skills:
On-Demand (e-learning in SAFe Studio) only
1-hour or less to complete
Focused on increasing a learner’s skill needed for their role or in a specific competency
A digital badge is earned upon completion of the requirements
How long does it take to complete a SAFe Skill?
All skills are designed to be completed in less than 1 hour.
How do I find SAFe Skills?
SAFe Skills will be delivered through SAFe Studio. You can find them in the "Resources and Media Library".
Is there a recognition earned upon completion of a SAFe Skill?
Yes! Upon completion of all requirements, learners will earn their recognition. This recognition will appear on SAFe Studio in the Achievements section of My Learning. Learners will also be awarded a digital badge, which they can claim and share through Credly after opting in to receive them as normal for digital badges.
Do recognitions earned from SAFe Skill e-learnings expire or have renewal criteria?
No. SAFe Skills Badges do not expire nor have renewal criteria.
Are SAFe Skills included in my SAFe Studio access?
No, these are not included as part of SAFe Studio but can be purchased a la carte or as a series.
Are SAFe Skills included in an SES?
No, these are outside the SES and can be purchased through a Bulk Purchase Agreement.
What languages are SAFe Skills available in?
All our SAFe Skills are available in English. The Writing Effective OKRs in SAFe Skill is also currently available in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese.

Can SAFe Skills be part of a resell opportunity?
Not at this time. We are exploring options to offer this opportunity in the future and will keep you informed. If at any time during this Limited Release, you have a SAFe customer who would like to purchase in bulk, you may consult your Account Manager, and we will work on a plan with you.
Will Scaled Agile drive market awareness of SAFe Skills?
Yes, we are building the product adoption and market awareness of SAFe Skills during our limited release.
Do you have a roadmap for additional SAFe Skills you’ll be building in the future?
We intend to focus on building SAFe Skills that can be consumed as a series or individually and are targeted for SAFe Professional roles (SM, RTE, PO, PM, LPM and SPC/T). Our goal is to build a library of SAFe Skills and release new skills on a consistent cadence.
