In 2025 we’re making adjustments to the training policy for SPCs, ASPCs, and SPCTs. We’ll be enforcing this policy in two phases based on certification date—see below for details.
Previously, SPCs were allowed to teach all SAFe courses except for Implementing SAFe and Advance SAFe Practice Consultant (ASPC). With this policy update, those training privileges are being adjusted. Below is a breakdown of which courses each certification level (SPC, ASPC, SPCT) is authorized to teach under the new policy.

This policy will take effect in a couple stages:
June 4, 2025 – The new policy applies to all individuals certified on or after this date.
December 3, 2025 – The policy applies to all remaining SPCs, ASPCs, and SPCTs, regardless of certification date.
