    • These courses will be removed from the SAFe Enterprise Subscription catalog and the SAFe Studio platform

The exams for these courses are retiring on June 30th, 2025.

Why are you retiring these courses?
Many factors were considered when deciding to sunset these courses including market performance, feedback, customer needs, and other resources available or being prepared for release to support learning in these areas.

Is anything replacing these courses?
We’re working on developing and curating resources to capture the content in these courses and make it available in other ways.

  • SAFe Advanced Scrum Master

    • We’re releasing a new, modular Advanced Scrum Master Certification Course that will help Scrum Masters develop skills through a combination of SAFe Skills and a Micro-credential course. The certification path culminates in a live learning lab. This new path focuses on developing skills Scrum Masters need to advance in their role while creating flexibility in their learning experience.

  • SAFe for Government

    • We’re developing a set of SAFe Micro-credential courses for those working in a government context. Currently, we are testing our first Micro-credential course, SAFe for Government: Roles and Responsibilities. We also are thinking through the additional Micro-credential courses we could create to continue providing guidance for applying SAFe in the government context.

  • SAFe for Marketing -

    • There is a SAFe for Marketing Awareness toolkit available on SAFe Studio.

  • Leading by Example

    • We’re planning to develop a Micro-credential course focused on educating and supporting leadership that will incorporate some of the content from this course.

  • Accelerating Change Leadership

    • We have no plan to replace this content at this time

I earned a certification from one of the courses being retired, what will happen to that?
Nothing! That certification is still 100% valid and valuable. You can still renew, upgrade, and share that certification; we are simply removing the avenue for new people to earn the certification.

I have licenses for courses that are being retired, what do I do with those?
It depends on the course.

  • For SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe for Government, or Agile Marketing with SAFe you can convert those licenses into any of our two-day courses with the same license price like SAFe Scrum Master or Leading SAFe.

  • For any other courseware license you are unable to exchange, including SAFe Advanced Scrum Master, SAFe for Government, Agile Software Engineering, or Agile Marketing please contact our support team directly. You can submit a ticket by emailing [email protected]
